Mumma's Strength Club A weekly strength and conditioning class that is dedicated to pre and postnatal women.

Today was push / pull - consisting of pull ups, floor press, Tricep dips, shoulder press and some rows!

The session finished off with a partner workout;

Complete a 50 calorie ski, whilst one person is on the ski erg, the other was doing shuttle runs 🔥

The girls smashed it!!

Tomorrow is ‘women’s weight lifting club’ at 1:30-2:30pm!

This class is ideal for those who don’t enjoy busy gym environments and may need more help learning the fundamentals or support with progressing their lifting 💪🏼

This class is also a great opportunity to push yourself and get more 1-2-1 help, it is a small class so I can support you and your needs ❤️

We are starting a new block of programming and will be increasing our core and conditioning work for the next 4-6 weeks 💪🏼

A kind reminder ❤️

Your body spent over 9 months growing your baby/babies, in the process your abs literally separate to create space. Your body needs time to heal, if you suffer with diastasis recti postpartum (around 60% of postpartum women do!) then you need specific exercises to amend this.

Will our bodies ever be the same after pregnancy? No, never. Our bodies are forever changed at a physiological level. But that doesn’t mean you can’t regain confidence in your body. Keep consistent, do the work and you will see the results ❤️

What an amazing second week of our new programme, focusing specifically on deadlifts!

Every week the girls are improving their technique and as a result the weights are going up!

There have been some progressions seen amongst the group, with Megan and Becky now using barbells to deadlift instead of kettlebells. This is huge!

This week we continued to focus on box breathing and integrating that breath into other exercises such as Pallof press!

Next week we will be finishing our pull up focus and transitioning onto deadlifts and lower body accessory work!

Don’t worry girls, you won’t lose out on those pull up gains! They will be added in frequently so you can keep those gains!
