May Baha sa Davao! Baha ng Scholarship!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🫶🫶🫶
Starting September 2026, student-athletes in Davao City can apply for the newly introduced Atong Taga-an og Oportunidad ang Nangandoy nga Atleta (ATO NA) Scholarship Program, spearheaded by the City Sports Development Division.
The program offers comprehensive support to help local athletes balance their education and sports:
Full Scholarship: Eligible college student-athletes can receive ₱20,000 per semester for tuition and miscellaneous fees, plus an additional ₱5,000 subsidy for sports supplies and equipment.
Partial Scholarship: Available for those who qualify for alternative financial aid, providing ₱5,000 per semester for tertiary athletes and ₱5,000 per academic year for junior and senior high school athletes.
Who Can Apply?
There is no limit on the number of applicants, and no specific sport is prioritized. Selection is merit-based through an interview and evaluation process. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a bona fide resident of Davao City for at least three years.
Submit required documents: proof of residency, medical certificate, Good Moral Certificate, certificate of enrollment, and proof of athletic participation.
