A new dual-age-grade made up of girls moving into Y6 and Y7 is being rolled out, ready for the new rugby season. 🐅

All the best Luke 🏉

This week we have said farewell to Luke Pendlebury as he leaves Yorkshire Rugby Academy to take on an exciting new opportunity with the RFU as Girls PDG Lead.

Over his time with us as Foundation Phase Manager and Coach Developer, Luke has made a lasting impact on players, coaches, clubs and schools across the region. His passion for developing people and commitment to the game has helped us shape and strengthen our rugby pathway in many ways.

While we’re sad to see him leave the Academy, we’re incredibly grateful for everything he has contributed and proud to see him step into this fantastic new role.

Thank you, Luke, for all your hard work, dedication, support and laughs. We wish you every success in your next chapter and look forward to seeing all that you achieve!

Celebrating Success,🥳

Three England Rugby awards in one week to celebrate for the Wildcats 🐅

Hayley attended a Ready 2 Ref course exclusively for women and girls, and enjoyed learning alongside her Yorkshire teammates. Hats off to everyone there that day; it was a scorcher.🥵

Richard completed his England Rugby Mentoring Award after supporting others and their development over the course of the last couple of months, providing him with a new accreditation to help support new volunteers looking to learn and get into coaching themselves.👍

Rachael completed her England Rugby Coaching Award after a successful journey, learning from the RFU over the season. An award that will help support the girls and the club at all ages.😃

It's great to see development opportunities for the Wildcats in partnership with England Rugby and the team there. We know there will be many more achievements to celebrate across the Wildcats as we continue to grow.🌹🥳🐅
