Model Boat Market!
Whether you’re a keen modeller, collector, or simply looking for a unique day out, come along and browse a wide range of pre-owned model boats, boating accessories, and hobby-related items from traders and enthusiasts. Enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere while exploring the many stalls and chatting with fellow model boating enthusiasts.
A variety of traders will be attending, offering plenty of opportunities to pick up a bargain or find that special addition to your collection. Our café will be open throughout the event, serving hot food, snacks, and drinks. The venue also benefits from full disabled access and free parking on the beach.

We are delighted to let you know that club bikes are now available for members only to hire on an ad-hoc basis during weekends, between 10:00am and 2:00pm, until the end of September.

To hire a bike, members must book in advance through WebCollect: https://webcollect.org.uk/mwbc/event/cycle-hire-members-only

Julie in reception will open the container for members to choose a suitable bike and will check that a valid booking is in place before releasing the bike. The bike must be signed out before use and signed back in upon return. The container will remain locked while the bike is in use and will be reopened on return to allow the bike to be put away.

Why We Need a Sign-Out Sheet

The sign-out system helps us:

Keep track of bike usage.
Monitor the condition of bikes and identify maintenance requirements.
Improve bike security.
Record which bikes have been taken out and returned.

Thank you for helping us look after the club's cycling equipment and keeping the system running smoothly for everyone. 🚲

Our RYA Level 1 & Youth Sailing Courses are designed for complete beginners and young sailors alike, offering hands-on tuition from experienced instructors in a safe and friendly environment.

Sailing Level 1 is a two day course - 26/27th of August
Sailing Youths Scheme is 25th for 1/2 a day

Are you ready to challenge yourself?
Whether you're taking on your first 400m open water swim, aiming for a 5K or 10K, or pushing towards an ultra-distance personal goal, The Manvers Endurance Swim is designed around your challenge, your pace and your distance.
Unlike traditional swim events, there are no fixed distances. You'll have a five-hour swim window to complete the distance you set yourself, with a choice of 400m loops, 800m loops or shorter front lengths to suit your ability and goals.

✅ Qualified lifeguards on duty
✅ Perfect for triathlon and marathon swim training
✅ Supportive and welcoming atmosphere
