I learn dojo rules—respect, focus, try again—and leave feeling seen. Mid-training: I’m practicing kihon, getting precise corrections with calm, direct feedback from JKA‑trained coaches. Each correction builds discipline and emotional control. Earning a stripe/belt: I stand taller, breathe steady, and feel proud—my confidence is real and measurable.
