2014 sees the introduction of general dog training classes for all those who wish to have a well-behaved well-mannered, non-reactive, sociable companion dog, which is a pleasure to own and take out.
19:30 - 21:00 Good Manners classes are designed to give an understanding of normal dog behaviour and give handlers the opportunity to socialise and relate to their dogs, whilst their dogs learn to acc
ept others around them without being over-excited, fearful or resentful. Problem behaviours are usually catered for on an individual basis before introducing to the class. With over 20 years experience, Sue is a qualified Behavioural Trainer and Advisor.
18:15 - 19:15 Doggy Dancing ... by invitation only, well socialised and well behaved non-reactive dogs only. Handlers and dogs will be working both individually and in small groups, and all are expected to watch quietly whilst others are working their dogs on the floor. Splash Dog Club has been running in Christchurch Church Hall on a Friday Evening for the last ten years as an invitation only dog group focussing on 'Heelwork To Music' and dancing with dogs. It has offered regular training opportunities for Handlers and Dogs to learn and practice routines set to music. HTM Competitors are invited to run training workshops three or four times a year to inspire
and encourage our local people, whether they are training for fun or competition. Splash Dog Club, Christchurch Church Hall, St Albans Road, North Watford
