It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend Martin Braniff, who passed away age 63 on 23rd July 2026.
Martin was born and raised in Luton to proud Irish parents from County Donegal and County Down. He will be fondly remembered by many from Sacred Heart Junior School, Cardinal Newman School, the church, the clubs, the pubs, the garages, and later in life after moving to Watford. He worked at British Telecom before establishing his own gardening business, making many friends along the way. Wherever Martin went, he was known, respected, and there was always a story or a smile that people remembered.
Above all, Martin was a devoted husband, father, and family man. He shared a loving life with his wife Susana, and together they raised their three wonderful children, who were the absolute pride and joy of his life. His love for his family was at the heart of everything he did, and they meant the world to him.
Martin’s funeral service will take place on Monday, 17th August, at 3:30 pm at Watford Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Watford, WD25 0JS.
His family warmly invite all relatives, friends, neighbours, school friends, work colleagues, and anyone who knew Martin to come along, stand together, share memories, and give him the farewell he so richly deserves.
“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.”
