We've seen that John Molloy is one of 4 finalists Molloy for the BBC Solent Make A Difference Awards: Active Award Category.

This is for 44/5 years of volunteering as a gymnastics coach and mentor with Ville, us lot and Viva Gymnastics Club

The Active Award is for people who have used physical activity or sport as a way of improving the lives of those in their community.

It's great to see recognition for the dedication to Women's Gymnastics in the New Years Honours list for these two worthy MBE appointees.

The couple set up the club 50 years ago and say they are "shocked" by the news of their MBEs.
