📢 IMPORTANT UCAP MEMBERSHIP UPDATE 📢

From 1st September, UCAP will no longer issue its own site membership.

Anyone wishing to establish a defence for the purchase of a Realistic Imitation Firearm (RIF) will need to register through the new Airsoft Defence system: 🔗 https://airsoft-defence.co.uk/

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1️⃣ Create an Airsoft Defence account using your personal details and a valid email address.
2️⃣ Complete your player profile and upload a clear, recent photograph.
3️⃣ Bring valid photographic ID to a participating game site so your identity and account can be verified.
4️⃣ Attend at least three qualifying game days over a period of more than 56 days. An individual QR code will be displayed at each participating site for you to scan and register your attendance.
5️⃣ Once you have completed the qualifying games and your ID has been verified at the site you can pay the annual £25 membership fee directly through the app. Your membership will not become active until payment has been made. Once paid, it will activate immediately.
6️⃣ To keep your status active, you must record at least three games at participating sites during every 12-month period. This is done by scanning the QR displayed on site.

An airsoft defence is evidence of genuine participation in the sport—it is not a licence and does not automatically guarantee that a retailer will complete a sale.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXISTING MEMBERS AND APPLICATIONS

If you are currently completing your qualifying games and have already had games signed off please contact [email protected]. We will advise you on the next steps.

UCAP will no longer sign off qualifying games using the old-style paper application forms.

Anyone issued with a UCAP site membership on or after 1st March 2026 will be transferred to the new Airsoft Defence system. No action from you is required however please ensure you keep a look out for emails to verify your account on the Airsoft Defence platform

If your current membership is due to expire on or before 28th February 2027, please create an Airsoft Defence account as explained above. You should then scan the QR code at each participating site you attend to register your games, this will ensure a seamless transfer to the new system.

As we currently watch the world burn due to this ridiculous heat I’d just like to take a minute to say that this weekend at Greenops we will have a complete pyro ban in force including BFG’s.

Please make sure smoking is kept to the benched area of the safezone and batteries to be only charged during lunch.

It’s shaping up to be a busy one with already 50+ booked on.

As always the fabulous Combat south will be on site with the finest Chinese products money can buy and the snack shack will be open.

FYI

To all those attending Green Ops this weekend we have implemented a Pyro ban due to the extremely dry nature of the site.
Currently this will be a full ban for smoke grenades and strike Pyro only to be used in and around the building’s only.

Thanks to everyone that attended both our sites today.

Green ops had lower numbers then normal due to some players actually wanting to spend time with their mothers, despite this great gameplay from all with both teams attacking hard and defending well.

A quick heads up for those wanting to play the bunker next weekend you need to get a wiggle on as only a handful of tickets remaining.

That’s a wrap !

The ground works portion of the safezone upgrades is finished.

Pad formed for the sign in office, new generator base and the 80 ton pile in the carpark has gone.

Let the construction commence !
