Lara has been training with me for a couple of years now and the main reason is to keep her injury free. Lara loves a challenge you find her taking part in Hyrox classes and running Marathons 🥵
These are Lara’s words
“Training with Polly is equal parts workout, therapy session, and comedy show, often all within the same hour.
There’s real skill in listening properly, understanding your goals, and fixing imbalances you didn’t even know existed, all while pretending not to notice when your coordination goes on holiday.
Polly genuinely understands women, the hormonal shifts, the physical changes, the days when your body feels like it’s running a software update you didn’t schedule. Everything is adapted without judgement and without making you feel like you’re being dramatic.
Coordination and counting will be tested (usually right when you’re convinced you’ve mastered both), and there’s always a very good ear on standby for whatever life chaos you’ve brought into the gym that day.
One of the things I appreciate most is the complete lack of judgement when I announce yet another ridiculous challenge I’ve agreed to. There’s no eye‑rolling, just a plan, and a way to get me through it safely.
The biggest proof of all? Polly got me through my marathon injury‑free, despite my best efforts to make that impossible.
She brings out the best in you, even on the days you arrive looking like you need a nap more than a workout. Leads by example, keeps you grounded, and somehow makes the whole thing fun.
Couldn’t recommend more.
So if this sounds like the type of training you’re looking for, just DM me to get started.
