πŸ’₯5 tips for Fat loss!πŸ’₯
1. Eat in a calorie deficit! If you are wanting to lose some body fat then you must be in a deficit of calories which means you are burning more calories than you are consuming. To work this out go online and find a calorie calculator or send me a message and I can help you work it out! πŸ₯¬
2. Increase your expenditure! Add some extra expenditure to your routine along side your weights, wether thats doing more steps, (10k per day is a good place to start) adding in some cardio to your sessions or simply moving more throughout the day i.e. taking the stairs over a lift, walking to the shop instead of driving or even taking the dog out for an extra walk every day πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
3. Train with weights 3-5 times per week! As soon as people decide they want to lose fat the majority of people start focusing totally on cardio and neglecting the weights. Dont make this mistake, not only does a hard weights session burn a load of calories but it will also help you to maintain your muscle mass and even gain some muscle if you are a beginner meaning you will look even better when you've lost that fat!πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈ
4. Sleep 7-8 hours per night! I cant stress the importance of sleep enough, it effects almost everything in life, and fat loss is one of them! Study's show that cutting back on sleep reduces your chances of losing fat by up to 55% and also increases your levels of ghrelin (the hunger hormone) meaning your appetite will be much harder to control! Keep that sleep in check and aim for 7-8 hours per night! 😴
5. Fill up on high Volume foods! To combat your hunger try eating low calorie foods with high volume! Try adding a big serving of vegetables to your meals, most vegetables are very low calorie and very filling and will help keep you stay full without using up all of your calories! πŸ₯¦
Give these things a try next time your trying to drop so fat! Get in touch if you have any further questions!

πŸ’₯5 tips to gain some muscle!πŸ’₯
1. Eat in a calorie surplus! If you arent eating in a surplus of calories then you have slim chance of growing any muscle unless your a beginner. Your body needs the extra food to fuel your sessions, grow and recover. Go online or drop me a DM to work out exactly how many calories you should be eating! πŸͺ
2. Rest and Recover! One of the most important things to consider is your recovery. Keep your recovery on point by ensuring you get 7-8 hours sleep minimum per night, taking at least 2 rest days per week and are eating enough protein. (1g per lb of bodyweight) Remember that your body grows and recovers outside of the gym! 😴
3. Get stronger at compound lifts! Focus your sessions around big compound movements such as squat, bench press and deadlifts or a variation of these that suit you. Compounds are multi joint movements that recruit multiple muscles at once therefore provide more bang for your buck! Throw in some isolations after the hard work is done for a complete workout! πŸ’ͺ
4. Stick to a program and be consistent! Once you have a program set make sure you stick too it. Dont go changing things everyweek, give the program time to work. Building muscle takes time and wont happen overnight, you must be consistent week in week out with your diet and training to ensure the best results! πŸ“ˆ
5. Train using progressive overload! Try and progress your exercises in every session, wether thats; adding weight to the bar, performing more reps on a given set, creating more time under tension or even decreasing your rest times after sets. Make sure your form is set in stone before trying to progress exercises! πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈ
Try adding all these things into your training/diet if you arent already and I guarantee you will see better results! Get in touch if you have any futher questions!πŸ’ͺ
