Last game of the season yesterday with a 6-5 win over Jarrovians. Great game to end the season with!

It’s been a long hard season with lots of bare 11s but being 3rd for most of the season has been a great effort.

Some great competition against teams in our division which just seems to get stronger and stronger every year! Congratulations to Grangetown for winning the league.

Hopefully back stronger next year! Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the year! UTS 🟢⚫️

The North Biddick FC 1-4 The Stella Football Club

Internet back on in The Stella FCs’ writers house, so posts will resume.

For the third time this season we faced off against The North Biddick who had bested us twice prior so it was about time for some revenge.

The first goal was a gift from their keeper who played the ball straight to Tea on the edge of the box who showed great composure and tucked it into the goal. He then doubled his tally before half time after heading home from a cross from Scouse off the left. 2-0 at the break.

The opposition came out fired up in the second half and with the wind on their side, peppered us for the first 15. However, we hit them on the counter attack after Tea went on a run from inside his own half then fed Adam inside the box who was brought down and Tea converted the penalty.

The North Biddick did pull one back to make it 3-1 but Tea rounded off an excellent day for himself by adding a 4th goal to his tally and putting the game beyond any doubt.

Happy new year to the lads in green as we were back, with new kit, and ready to continue our push for promotion to the Premier division.

We were against a side who were near the bottom of the table but beat us previously so we knew we would be in for a tough game, particularly with the minus temperatures making it a cold affair.

We took the lead in the first half with a lovely volley from Adam at the back post after great work down the right hand side. Nothing much else to report about the first half as it was an even affair bar the goal.

We started the second half by doubling our advantage, Tea picked up a stray pass from their keeper and hit a lovely 25 yard screamer into the far corner. This gave us a better lead to defend.

We were pegged back after Tea turned hero to villain by bringing down the opposition in our box, with the resulting penalty being converted.

However, it was great to see Scouse back from his hiatus and getting in on the action. A defence splitting pass from Robbie allowed him to run in on their keeper and poke it into the corner.

3 goals. 3 points. Great way to start 2026.

Silksworth FC 1-5 The Stella Football Club

The lads in green were back in action today after a capitulation last week and throwing away a 3 goal lead to lose the game 4-3, they were up for the three points.

The game started with both teams going at it in a tightly contested first 15. However, it was the boys who took the lead with a pin point free kicm from Ben that landed onto the head of Tea to put us 1-0 up.

Moments later we doubled the lead after a corner was flicked to the far post and Robbie Russell smashing in a thunderbolt on the half volley. We then added a third with Adam firing in off the post, a deserved goal for him.

Unfortunately, we didn’t go into the break with a clean sheet as Silksworth put a looping cross into the box that couldn’t be kept out by our keeper.

The second half started with the opposition pressuring us, as expected. However, the lads rode the storm and hit on the counter. A one two between LJ and Adam put LJ in on goal who side footed round the keeper to make it 4.

Tea grabbed his second of the game shortly after where there was an overload of our attackers in the opposition box, yet Tea kept his composure and curled it into the corner of the net. Grant still fuming that he didn’t get a pass.

Overall, a great performance and put last week’s horror show behind us.

Back to winning ways for the first time since October 19th 🙈

Excellent shift all round today from the lads in green, on another day it could have been double figures. Great to see the goals coming from all the way throughout the team.

Keeper, Mick Blair, could of set up a deck chair in the second half with the little he had to do, so instead decided to almost murder Robbie with a high knee that Harley Race woulda been proud of.
