How to prepare before your Sports Therapy appointment ✍🏻✨
- Most important, let me know if you have any medical conditions, allergies or any issues prior. Sharing this ahead of time allows me to provide the best and safest experience possible.
- Try & Shower before hand. A quick shower is ideal, but no stress if you’ve trained beforehand or are coming straight from work. Just do a quick check and a sink wash if needed 😄
- What to wear, Loose, comfortable clothing is best so it’s easy to change.
- Men: boxers or short shorts in a relaxed, stretchy material work well, especially if glutes are being treated.
- Women: bra and knickers please. Avoid sports bras with lots of straps as they can make back treatment tricky unless you are comfortable to remove it.
- What to Bring, Please bring a towel. I don’t have storage space in the treatment room, so this helps me out a lot 👌🏻
- Avoid Big Meals, You don’t need to arrive on an empty stomach, but lighter meals are best so your body isn’t focused on digestion during your treatment.
- Hydration is important ,Stay well hydrated before and after your session. Avoid excessive caffeine or coming in hungover, as massage increases circulation and waste removal from your muscles 💪🏼, which your body needs water to support.
