Madaline Arnott was back in the gym tonight showing off her latest awards her Midlands Box Cup Championship Belt and the Best Junior Female Boxer award for the Tyne, Tees & Wear Region while grabbing a photo with the squad.

Maddie is a real inspiration to all of our boxers and continues to set the standard through her hard work, dedication and success. She's had another incredible season, adding a National Title, European Title, Midlands Box Cup title and the Best Junior Female Boxer award in the region to her growing list of achievements.

With two more box cups still to come before the season ends, we're hoping she can add a couple more trophies to the collection before we go again next season!

A huge thank you to the Tyne, Tees & Wear Region for voting for Maddie and to Al Topping for dropping off the trophy last week.

Maddie is a star in the making and an absolute pleasure to have in the gym. We couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved.

WBC had three of our junior boxers competing at the Midlands Box Cup this weekend, and all three gave a fantastic account of themselves against quality opposition.

First up was Surri Joy Brown, who took on Natasha Wainright from Lydney Boxing Club. Surri started brightly, landing some lovely scoring shots in the opening round. Unfortunately, she was caught with a low blow and given a count, and then after what appeared to be a clash of heads, received another count which led to the referee stopping the contest. A disappointing end to what was shaping up to be a really good performance from Surri, who showed plenty of skill and heart.

Next up was Madeline Arnott, who faced the tough Reyha Hassan from Truth Boxing. Maddie once again showcased her slick movement, sharp shot selection, and boxing IQ throughout the contest. Her quality work earned her a unanimous decision victory and saw her crowned Midlands Box Cup Champion! 🏆Another accolade added to an already incredible collection. Well done, Maddie what a talent you are!

Lastly, we had Rory Tindle taking on the very tough Malachy Maughan from Second City. This was a cracking contest from start to finish. Rory came out strong in the first round, landing scoring shots at will. The second round was end-to-end and could have gone either way, while Malachy piled on the pressure in the third to finish strongly. Credit to both lads for putting on a fantastic bout and giving the crowd a real treat.

Everyone at WBC is incredibly proud of these three. They put the graft in week after week and continue to perform on the big stage. There'll be no resting though, as they'll all be back out in a couple of weeks at the Monkstown Box Cup, so the hard work continues.

A big thank you to Lee and everyone at Lambton Street for having us over tonight for some quality rounds.

These sessions are what it's all about, with both clubs taking something positive away and helping each other develop. Great experience for everyone involved.

A special thanks to Jayden, Frazer and Masie for getting the rounds in with all of our boxers Louis, Rory, Charlie, Harry, Surri and Maddie. Plenty learned and plenty to build on.

Looking forward to doing it again soon!

Congratulations to WBC boxer Frankie Lyall on winning her semi-final at the prestigious Haringey Box Cup while representing the Royal Air Force!
The Haringey Box Cup is regarded as the Premier League of box cups, attracting some of the very best talent from across the country and beyond, making this a fantastic achievement.
A massive well done, Frankie. All the hard work is paying off and everyone at WBC is proud of you. Best of luck in the final go and get the job done and smash it! 🥊🏅

Massive congratulations to Madeline Arnott on being crowned Best Junior Female for the Tyne Tees & Wear Region.
Maddie is a real talent and continues to raise the bar year after year. A 4-time National Champion and European Gold Medalist is an unbelievable achievement and fully deserved through all the hard work, dedication and commitment she puts in every day.
What a pleasure it is to have such talent representing the gym and inspiring the younger generation coming through. The future is bright keep flying Maddie, we’re all massively proud of you 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇪🇺 TTW🥊

Massive well done to Teddy today! Overcoming those nerves and battling through a tough first round before putting it together in round 2 and round 3
You showed great improvements, loads of character and we were all really impressed with how you dealt with the nerves and completely turned the bout around. A brilliant performance and plenty to be proud of well done Teddy! 👏🥊
