Another lovely walk yesterday - this time from Scaling Dam to Grosmont.

We started the day with a touch of sea fret, but it soon cleared to be a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. Along the way, we passed through stunning wildflower meadows filled with butterflies, making it such a special walk.
We enjoyed watching the steam trains before finishing with a well deserved drink at the Station pub at Grosmont.

The long walkers set off from Ellerby, while the middle walkers started from Lythe, following the Cleveland Way to Sandsend and along the coast to Whitby.
It was a beautiful walk, the best of both worlds with beautiful countryside and stunning coastal views throughout. The short walkers enjoyed a great day around Whitby.
There was something for everyone, from fish and chips to icecream (if we could keep the seagulls at bay, unfortunately not everyone managed it) to well earned cold refreshments.
It was a lovely day all round.

Today's walk took us along the beautiful Northumberland coast to Amble.
The long walkers started from Cresswell, while the middle walkers set off from Red Row. The short walkers enjoyed a circular route along the coastal path to Amble.
A great day out with something for everyone.

We had great weather today for our walk from Guisborough along the Cleveland way to Saltburn-by-the-sea. Lots of steps to challenge us but the amazing views made every one worth it. We were lucky enough to catch a cycle race which made the day even more special. Walking under the Saltburn viaduct was an amazing sight, very impressive to see up close.
Another great day with great company. 🥾

Our walk around Edmundbyers was a real challenge with biting wind and rain testing us along the way, but it all added to the adventure. 🥾
A cosy pub is the perfect way to end a very wet day 🍺🍷🔥
