This weekend saw our brand new girls team, U9’s, play their very first game. Safe to say, from the smiling faces, the girls had a great time and are looking forward to the start of their league season.
Girls have always been welcome to join junior teams at HBW, but now we are so pleased to be able to offer them a girls only team.

Great effort by everyone today on another warm day. 12 players available, 3 more debuts and 2 others making only their 2nd and 3rd appearances so the connections on the pitch are still growing but the signs are promising.

More new faces starting today so working on those connections between players and great team spirit on display again.

The team were back for our first pre season friendly and it was a warm one. Regardless of the result, today was a success because it was a chance to build some match fitness, integrate new players and try players in positions they’re not used to. Well done everyone 👏🏻
