Hi all, here is our new website just in time for the new river season !, you can see it by clicking on this link www.stratfordangling.com we hope you like it.

There is a mobile site / App too which has a cut down version of the main site on it and will contain different functions going forward such as day ticket payment.

The new website aims to convey where we are hoping to take the club over the period, what changes we hope to bring in and to increase collaboration with our members.

We have a few unique challenges and also great opportunities being in Stratford, it's a busy place and it's not easy to navigate if you are a visitor to the town and you want to have a fish, so we have tried to provide some practical help and guidance for guests, options on how and where to fish and also to detail our waters which stretch for miles downstream of the town centre.

Going forward we would love some content for the site, great catch pics, videos, stories, please contact us / send them to us and we might feature them on the site and on our page.

We would particularly like to hear from anyone who has any archive material from the club which we know goes back way further than 1970, we are going to try and detail the history of the association which goes back well over 100 years but we need help from those who remember the club back in the day and any old material would be hugely welcome.

We are also working on giving our members new fishing opportunities over the next year, as with all small clubs everything is a challenge so we are looking to increase our collaboration with other clubs and associations for the benefit of our members.

To ensure the future of our sport we want to encourage young anglers and look after the environment too, no one cares about the state of the rivers more than anglers, we like to think we are 'Custodians of the Avon' and want to make sure we do our bit to preserve the waterways for our sport and future generations.

We really hope you like the site and look forward to seeing you on the bank and at our matches this season.
