Factor is back at Velo Atelier.
For riders who want performance without compromising on fit.

Buying one through Velo Atelier means combining cutting-edge engineering with the fit-first approach behind everything we do.

Instead of ordering a standard build, we’ll help you choose the right Factor model and specify the frame size, cockpit, crank length, gearing and components around you. Your bike is then built and set up in-house at Velo Atelier.

The full Factor range is now available.
Never. Status Quo.

If you’re considering a new performance bike, come in for a chat or send us a message.

Watch a custom Mosaic RT-1 with Campagnolo come together at Velo Atelier.

Handcrafted in Boulder, Colorado, the RT-1 combines double-butted titanium tubing, beautifully finished welds and rider-specific geometry with the unmistakable character of Campagnolo.

In this video, we take you through the complete build—from bare frameset to finished bicycle.

At Velo Atelier, a custom bike begins with a professional bike fit. We consider the rider’s physiology, movement, position, riding style and ambitions before helping to define the geometry and specification.

The result is more than a beautiful titanium bicycle. It’s a bike created to fit its rider, deliver the intended handling and provide an exceptional experience on the road.

Some bikes are selected from a catalogue.

A Meteor Works bicycle is created around you.

The process begins in the Velo Atelier bike-fit studio, where we learn about your body, your riding and what you want from the bike. Those insights guide the geometry, handling, materials and component choices—bringing every element together with a clear purpose.

The result isn’t simply a custom-sized frame. It’s a complete bicycle designed for one rider and handcrafted in Warwick.

Whether you want greater comfort, confident handling, long-distance capability or something genuinely individual, we can create a bike that reflects the way you ride.

Your measurements.
Your ambitions.
Your bicycle.

Contact Velo Atelier to book your bike fit and begin your Meteor Works commission.

Titanium. Tailored to you.

The Mosaic RT-1 is a modern road bike with timeless character—handcrafted in Boulder, Colorado, using double-butted titanium tubing and rider-specific geometry.

But a truly custom bike doesn’t begin with a frame.

It begins with you.

At Velo Atelier, we start with a professional bike fit to understand your body, position, riding style and ambitions. That information becomes the foundation of a Mosaic created specifically for the way you ride.

What you feel on the bike only tells part of the story. Pressure mapping lets us see the rest.

The first image shows concentrated areas of high saddle pressure and an unstable pelvis—often experienced by the rider as discomfort, numbness, constant repositioning or difficulty settling into an efficient pedalling rhythm.

After fitting, the second map tells a very different story: pressure is distributed more evenly, peak pressure is reduced and the pelvis is noticeably more stable.

Using the gold-standard gebioMized pressure-mapping system, we can measure exactly how you interact with the saddle while riding. This helps us make informed changes to saddle choice, height, setback, angle and overall position—then verify the results in real time.

It isn’t just for professional cyclists. Pressure mapping can help riders of every level:

• Ride more comfortably
• Reduce unwanted movement on the saddle
• Improve stability and pedalling efficiency
• Find the right saddle with less guesswork
• Feel more confident on longer rides

A bike fit shouldn’t be based on appearance or assumptions. It should be guided by the rider, supported by objective data and confirmed by how the bike feels.

If discomfort is limiting your riding—or you simply want to know whether your position is working as well as it could—book a professional bike fit at Velo Atelier.

See the difference. Feel the difference.

A beautiful bike should do more than turn heads. It should feel as though it was made for you.

The Festka Doppler brings together titanium, carbon and fully custom geometry to create a bike shaped around the rider—not the other way around.

At Velo Atelier, that process begins with a professional bike fit. We look at your position, movement, riding style and ambitions before helping you create the right bike.

10 Years of Bike Fitting at Rapha London

For the last decade, Velo Atelier has been taking our BikeFit MOT sessions to Rapha Soho, helping riders understand their position, movement and interaction with the bike.

Think of it as an MOT for you and your bike.

During the one-hour session, Lee Prescott, creator of our Clinical BikeFit protocol, combines functional movement and range-of-motion screening with an assessment of your foot support, riding position, movement on the bike and saddle pressure.

The aim isn't simply to change your position. It's to understand what's happening, identify where improvements can be made and make informed adjustments that can improve comfort, efficiency and performance.

Whether something doesn't quite feel right, your position hasn't been checked for a while, or you'd simply like to understand your riding position a little better, it's a great opportunity for a professional check-up without committing to a full Clinical BikeFit.

Spaces are always limited, so follow the link below for more information and booking.

Your bike gets an MOT. Maybe you should too.

New Podcast | Cycling Demystified

We were delighted to see Lee Prescott, founder of Velo Atelier and President of the International Bike Fitting Institute (IBFI), join the team at Cycling Demystified for a fascinating conversation about bike fitting, the future of the profession and the work being done through the IBFI to raise standards across the industry.

The discussion explores everything from education and certification to why bike fitting should be recognised as a profession built on evidence, critical thinking and continuous development—not just experience alone.

As our understanding of biomechanics, technology and rider interaction continues to evolve, so too must the way we approach bike fitting. Conversations like these are an important part of moving the industry forward and encouraging open discussion around best practice.

Whether you're a cyclist wanting to better understand what goes into a professional bike fit, or a fitter interested in the future of the profession, we think you'll find plenty to take away from this episode.

A big thank you to Wei, Matt and Ev for the invitation and for creating a podcast that encourages thoughtful discussion about the science, engineering and craftsmanship behind cycling.

🎧 Have a listen, and let us know what you think.

For years, cycling shoes have followed a simple philosophy: make them stiff, make them light and make them aerodynamic.

But are we paying enough attention to the one thing they surround... our feet?

It was a pleasure to contribute to the latest feature and Off the Back podcast from , exploring whether the principles behind the barefoot shoe movement could influence the future of cycling footwear.

https://www.cyclingweekly.com/fitness/could-the-barefoot-shoe-movement-ever-come-to-cycling

This isn't about suggesting we should all start riding in barefoot shoes. Cycling places very different demands on the body than walking or running. Instead, it's about asking whether we've become too accepting of cycling shoes that compromise natural foot shape and function in the pursuit of stiffness and performance.

As bike fitters, we see every day how the interface between the foot, the shoe and the pedal can influence comfort, stability, power transfer and even injuries further up the kinetic chain.

It's a fascinating discussion, and one I think will become increasingly important as our understanding of foot function continues to evolve.

Have a listen to the podcast or read the article and let me know your thoughts. I'd be interested to hear where you think the future of cycling footwear lies.
