The final pits five times champions Riviere and Chisholm against the team they beat in the 2022 (Bordeaux) and 2024 (Chicago) finals. Lumley and Virgona will, however, take heart from their most recent meeting where they took the US Open Title in a three sets to one victory earlier this year in Chicago. The first time Riviere and Chisholm had lost that title in thirteen years.

Whatever the result the match will end with records broken. A win for Riviere and Chisholm will see them equal the record of six consecutive world doubles titles held by Steve Virgona with Rob Fahey. It will also make Tim Chisholm the most successful individual World Doubles player with seven titles. Whereas a win for Lumley and Virgona will hand Steve Virgona his seventh title.

A great day 1 at the World Doubles Championships sponsored by Pragnell. Number 1 seeds Camden Riviere & Tim Chisholm took a 3-1 lead over Ben Taylor-Matthews & Bryn Sayers and Number 2 seeds John Lumley & Steve Virgona have a 4-0 lead over Rob Fahey & Nick Howell.

It was great to see so many spectators enjoying the spectacle of world class tennis. Today we are looking forward to the conclusion to the qualifying stages of the amateur doubles tournament the Pragnell Championship Cup, a royal visit and the conclusion to the two semi-finals.

Camden is the world number 1 and world singles champion. This is his 9th world doubles with 5 wins alongside Tim. He has 33 grand slam doubles titles and is touring professional at the Westwood Country Club
Tim is the world no 7 in his 10th World Doubles with 6 titles. He has 28 grand slam doubles titles and is Racket Director at the Tuxedo Club.

John is the world ranked number two playing in his 4th World Doubles. He has 10 grand slam doubles titles winning the US open last month with Steve beating No 1 seeds Camden Riviere and Tim Chisholm. Originally from England John is Head Tennis Professional at Philadelphia.
Steve is the world ranked number four playing in his 13th World Doubles having won six titles with Rob Fahey. He has 34 grand slam doubles titles. He is Tennis Professional at the Racquet Club of Chicago.
