Line Dance Warwick

Line Dance Warwick Come and join all the fun of line dancing, with an array of music genres, for all levels with a choice of beginner and intermediate and friendly welcome!

Come and enjoy an evening of learning to line dance to a range of different songs and genres at the Nelson Club in Warwick. Classes will start on Tuesday 21st June 2022! Beginners and Improvers are held from 7pm - 8.30pm, with the first half hour absolute beginners dances, and the remaining hour a mixture of improver and beginner dances. This is best for those who have never line danced before and

those who are not ready for an intermediate class. The intermediate class will follow from 8.30pm - 9.30pm with a range of intermediate and advanced dances. Classes are £6 each, or £7 for both should you wish to stay. There is plenty of free parking, a large sprung dancefloor, a stage which is viewable for everyone, lots of room to sit and a bar. Please do not bring your own drinks. We also have regular themed socials throughout the year.

Tuesday Evenings
7pm - 8.30pm - Beginner and Improver - suitable for those who have line danced before

8.30pm - 9.30pm - Intermediates - for those who have line danced before and want to learn harder dances

Wednesday Evenings
7pm - 8pm - Absolute Beginners - suitable for those who have never line danced before. We will be going through basic steps and dances.

8pm - 9.30pm - Improvers and Low Intermediates - for those who have danced before or wish to try harder dances.

Please arrive early to get registered and get a drink. Doors open from 6.30pm! You will find us in the main hall.

Classes are £6.50 each or why not try both for £7.50 on the same night? Cash only, the bar does cash back.

There is free parking both behind the club and opposite the club, plus a bar to buy drinks (please refrain from bringing your own drinks)

What do I wear?
You don’t need to wear anything special. Come in clothes that are comfortable.

What footwear shall I wear?
Wear flat shoes or boots that are comfortable, give you the right amount of traction and are comfortable with support for your feet. Some dancers like a small heel.

Do I need a partner?
No partner is required. Line dancing is very sociable so you can come on your own as it will not be long until you make new friends.
What music will we dance to?

We will not just dance to country and western music, line dancing is done to all genres of music including, pop, Latin, Irish and more!
And most importantly, enjoy yourself! We are there to have a good time!

We have regular themed socials throughout the year, see our page for photos of past socials.

We also get involved in local events, showing off our line dancing skills at fetes and fundraisers. You can book us for your next event!
Each year, we go on a line dancing weekend within the UK! If you would like to join us, you are more than welcome! 🤠

There are four line dance classes a week at the Nelson Club in Warwick, suitable for all ages and abilities!
