We are very excited to be running the inaugural "Heart of England" event on Sunday 14th April 2024. We hope this will be the first of many!

England ranking points are available for the U10, U12 and U14 competitions.

Although this is a new event, the DT and referees are experienced with running national and international events.

Places are limited to ensure the event runs smoothly and to time, so book early to avoid disapointment!

The event will be held at Warwick School (CV34 6PP), in the shadow of Warwick Castle. Great parking and easy access to motorways and transport networks.

On site cafe will be available.

All conductive pistes and digital scoring boxes.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all fencers including those competing for the first time. For the less experienced fencers, we will ensure they are supported during the event and our welfare officer will be on hand to make them feel welcome. Let us know if it is your first event and we will guide you on the day.

Year of birth (YOB) entry requirements. These are in line with the new England fencing season and ensure the event is ranked.

U10 - 2016,2015,2014
U12 - 2013,2012
U14 - 2011,2010
U17 - 2009,2008,2007

We wish to provide a fantastic experience for all the foilists taking part. To ensure they get maximum time on the piste, we plan to run 2 rounds of poules followed by a DE, unless otherwise published in advance.

U10's and 14's Boys and Girls - Check in closes 9am
U12's Boys and Girls - Check in closes 12:45pm
U17's Boys and Girls - Check in closes 1:15pm

We are very excited to announce the inaugural "Heart of England" event on Sunday 14th April 2024. We hope this will be the first of many!

Our first event is only for foil but the plan is to expand to other weapons over time.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for beginners and at the same time a competitive environment for the more experienced fencers. The events will receive England ranking points.
