We are an energetic hockey club with thriving Men's, Women's, Mixed and Junior sections!🏑 We play all of our winter league games at Warwick School.

For just over a century, Warwick Hockey Club has been an institution in the heart of one of the Midland's most picturesque towns. We benefit from four great venues:

Our Clubhouse is a superb Victorian sports pavilion situated next to Warwick racecourse. With bar, changing, pool,and darts facilities, this is the social hub of the club. Its two superb Astroturf pitches are within sight of the imposing Medieval Castle. We play veterans and some summer games in St Nicholas Park. The recently resurfaced Astro is set in a picturesque park just yards from the centre of Warwick. We play some summer games at Aylesford School. This brand new pitch is just a stone's throw away from our Clubhouse. Our sections:

Our vibrant Junior Section train every Wednesday and play in numerous tournaments. Our Women's Section runs four Saturday sides and are at the heart of the social calendar. Our Men's Section runs six sides, catering for players of all abilities. We are always keen to welcome new members. We cater for players of all abilities, providing excellent coaching, playing and social facilities for the whole club. Why not join us and enjoy great hockey, a social event every month and three tours (home and abroad) a year. We'd love to hear from you!

Warwick Hockey Club Ladies 1s are looking for opposition for a pre-season friendly on Saturday 12th September ideally against a Div 2 team. We have a pitch booked at Kings High School for 3pm.

🏑 CLUB DAY IS BACK!🏑

We’re kicking off the new season with our annual Club Day on Sunday 6th September at Warwick School Pitches!

Whether you’re a current member or completely new to Warwick Hockey Club, everyone is welcome — any ability! Come along for an afternoon of fun hockey, games and a chance to get to know the club 🙌

There will also be a cake sale & tuckshop throughout the day as well as a raffle

📅 Schedule

1.15–1.45pm: Junior tournament & activities
2–3.30pm: Mixed Senior Tournament (ages 13+)
3.30 – 4pm: Crossbar Challenge, Penalty Shuffles & raffle draw
4pm onwards: BBQ at Warwick Sports Club

📅 Friday 4th September 🕡 6:15pm–9:00pm 📍 Warwick School

Round up your colleagues, friends, family, gym buddies, run club... honestly, everyone is welcome! The aim is simple: get as many people as possible picking up a hockey stick for a fun evening of social hockey.

Whether you play every week, haven’t played in years, or have never picked up a stick before, this event is for you. Don’t have a full team? No problem! Get in touch and we’ll help find you a team or match you with others looking to play.

🏑 Sticks can be provided if needed. 🥅 Goalkeepers aren’t required, but are very welcome if you’d like to play in goal!

💷 £30 per team or £5 per person (payable on the night)

🛡️ Gumshield and shins pads are recommended

⏰ Arrive from 6:15pm to warm up, with the first games starting at 6:30pm.

🍻 After the hockey, we’ll be opening the clubhouse, so stick around for a drink and a catch-up!

Warwick Hockey Club is incredibly proud to have had two members representing the club on the international stage at the Masters Hockey World Cup in Rotterdam! 🌍🏑

Holly, our Director of Hockey, coached the England Over 40s Women to a fantastic 5th place finish, making them the highest-placed European team in their age group.

Kirstin, Ladies 1s player, represented Wales Over 45s, finishing as the team’s joint top goalscorer during the tournament and helping Wales secure 10th place in the world.

To represent your country at a World Cup is a phenomenal achievement, and to have two members of Warwick Hockey Club doing just that makes us immensely proud. Well done, both!💙💛
