It's that time of year again where some of our members head across the water to the Isle of Man for the annual international invitational!

Wolves entered one women's team, and one (and a half!) gents teams - and you can see some of them smiling through the aches and pains!

Our Mixed Team played their final match of the season last night, though sadly couldn't manage the win against a tough MCVC side.

Set 1 was 23-25 and set 3 was 24-26, so it was a game of very tight margins! We played some great volleyball, but sometimes things just don't go your way!

Well done Tom for being named MVP, too👏

A big win for our big GMVA Men's squad last night.

Lots of momentum for the gents against Manchester Marvels, and although there was a close second set (25-23) we managed to pull through and secure the victory.

Lots to improve on, but a win is a win!

Big 3-0 win for the GMVA Men last night vs Uni of Manchester.

A brilliant game to play, great team spirit, and a really solid drive to pick ourselves up and push forward through mistakes.

Huge thanks to UoM for being such brilliant hosts, and for being such a sporting team to play against.

Well done to Tom for being named MVP by UoM for his "brain on court."

Our Mixed Team were on the road last night playing an away game vs Northern Manchester Bees.

Sadly it was a 3-1 defeat in the end! We did well to win the third set 25-23, but we just couldn't quite get our momentum going.

A big home victory for our MVL Men last night against Wirral Rebels B, 3-0!

A great game, and it's always enjoyable playing against our friends from the Wirral.

Well done to the gents, let's keep these wins going as we round out the season💪

Great work last night for our GMVA v MVL Men's friendly game.

The GMVA gents took a 4-1 win, but lots of brilliant volleyball, and a really beneficial session to try out new things!

Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and rests up ready to finish the season strong💪

An important home victory for the MVL Men's squad tonight, earning a 3-1 win over Chester Trojans this evening.

Some VERY close sets (25-11, 26-24, 25-27, 25-16) but we got there in the end!

What a fight from Trojans, but a convincing win from Wolves in the end💪

Another five-set game for our MVL Men this afternoon, but luck didn't go our way this time!

We put up a good fight against a consistently strong side, but Liverpool U18s pipped us to the post in the final set.

Well done to the gents for fighting for every point - onwards and upwards💪
