Warrington Gymnastics Club

Welcome to Warrington Gymnastics Club. Giving all children the opportunity to participate in a supportive, friendly, safe environment. We currently have a membership of 300+ gymnasts. We offer classes to boys and girls from the age of 3 years and upwards. Our gymnasts have fun whilst learning the basic skill required to progress, building confidence at each level. Our qualified coaches who have ex

perience in talent identification can select those children who have a particular aptitude for flexibility and strength to transfer to our development squads to progress to a competitive level. We also offer "gymnastics for all" classes, these classes are for those children who love gymnastics but may not be ready to move to a competitive environment. These children are encouraged to progress through the system to the improver and intermediate levels at their own speed and work through the British Gymnastics awards scheme. ALL our sessions are coached or supervised by staff, who have passed gymnastic coaching qualifications awarded by British Gymnastics – the sport’s governing body and all members of the coaching team and staff are CRB checked, so parents and carers can rest assured that your children are having fun in a safe, child friendly and stimulating environment. In addition, Warrington Gymnastics Club has been awarded GymMark by British Gymnastics. Its purpose is to provide recognition for clubs that are committed to providing quality experiences; encouraging young people to take up sport, whilst focusing on improving their talent and maintaining a life long participation in sport. Gaining GymMark accreditation means that our Club is recognised by British Gymnastics and their partners as a safe, effective and child friendly club, providing a service in the community that children and young people, their parents/carers and others with a passion for Gymnastics can trust. Staff at the club believe that Gymnastics is an ideal foundation for all sports and helps to develop skills to take further for an active, confident and healthy lifestyle. Focusing on balance, agility, co-ordination, flexibility and strength, gymnastics can be enjoyed at any age and at any level. Based just outside the centre of Warrington we have excellent transportation links to the Motorways and are just a 5 minute walk to both the train and bus stations.
