What a 2026 it has been.
Our Reserves and Academy teams in their respective Grand Finals.
The Scholars only losing one game.

19 Pathway players have played for the first team.
12 Homegrown players in the Super League win against Toulouse on Friday.
10 Academy players in the Origin squads

We're proud to support our Head of Youth Ryan O'Brien and his staff in the development of our Homegrown players. We also support the Prospects pathway program.
Squadbuilder is run by a dedicated group of supporters with subscriptions from our members and events during the year. Everything is invested in the Youth development across the town

We're incredibly proud to see 13 Homegrown players in the first team squad tonight for the Warrington Wolves Round 27 game of the Betfred Super League season. Sam Burgess has indicated that Pathway graduates Pat Irwin and Daniel Coop are likely to make their first team debut, after which they will be allocated their unique club Heritage number.

Squadbuilder is incredibly proud to support the development of our Homegrown players and see them thrive and progress under the guidance of our outstanding Head of Youth Ryan O'Brien and his staff and volunteers.

Lachlan Webster made his Super League debut in March this year and was awarded Heritage number #1229. This is acknowledged every time he plays for the Wire, as do all our Homegrown players, with the special tab on the front of their playing shirt. We love the acknowledgement from the club.

Congratulations to our Pathway graduates Pat Irwin and Dan Coop for their call up amongst the 13 Homegrown players in the Squad. However, dismayed that none will be available for the Reserve Grand Final on Saturday. 🤷
That's the price of success I guess and other players in the Academy will be ready to step up and take their chance.
