🏐 ANC Kingfishers vs Wirral Gems Stars 🏐
Kingfishers win 16–10! 🎉
What a great performance from the Kingfishers today! 💪 At the end of the first quarter, the teams were level, and it really could have gone either way. But the Kingfishers kept pushing, showing incredible determination, and took the lead in every quarter that followed.
Every single girl showed sheer determination, resilience and fight, never backing down and giving it everything right until the final whistle. ❤️👏
We couldn’t be prouder of them! What a fantastic result, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow and develop over the next few weeks. 🌟

💜WIN💜

ANC Phoenix 27 🐦‍🔥v Altrincham Scouts 15

Phoenix got the season off to a brilliant start with a win over a Year 12 team - playing in a division above where we hoped to be. As a new, smaller squad, the girls were outstanding, showing great communication, teamwork and confidence from the first whistle. It was also a fantastic debut for our new member, Rihanna, who fitted straight in and made a real impact across the court, winning Manager’s Player.

The match marked the return of two players after long-term injuries and was the team’s first game back after the summer break, but you wouldn’t have known it. They gelled incredibly well, supported each other throughout, and played with energy and determination to secure a well-deserved victory (the Coach awarded the whole team his player award). Ellie excelled as GA, with some incredible movement and shots, securing her Player’s Player.

A fantastic result and a great sign of what’s to come this season! 🔥🏐

Throwback to when Sparrowhawks won the Warrington Ball Hall Summer Season!! 🖤💜9/10 Premier League Champs🖤💜

Sparrowhawks 37 - 21 Warrington Storm

What a journey for these girls - end of their 4th year together and are crowned Premier league champions in what has become a highly competitive junior netball league at this age.

In fact throughout the whole this Winter and Summer 9/10 season - the girls have only lost one league game throughout. What a special achievement in itself. We lost the Winter season playoff but have avenged that in true Sparrowhawk fashion.

Our games vs Warrington are quick, physical and tense occasions with only a few points separating the game.

We flew out of the blocks in this final - our pace of play was electric to take a 10-6 lead. We worked really hard to deny space throughout. The second quarter started a little sloppy in possession but we quickly amended that to push hard on and off the ball to increase our lead to 10pts with a 20-10 lead.

We were every bit a premier league champion today - putting together four quarters of excellent control, passing, movement, defending and attacking. We starved our opponents possession and denied space. The third quarter went the same way to establish a 28-15 lead.

At that stage you may have thought that the girls may think it’s won - not this lot!! They yet again played “Sparrowhawk” netball to the end - to take complete control of the game and be CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!

It is nothing more than this group deserve!!

Throwback to when Firecrests won the Warrington Ball Hall Summer Season!! 💫 Appleton Firecrests 💫

🏆 Year 7/8 Premier Division Champions 🏆

V Altrincham Hawks

What a season this squad have had! Finishing the league in top spot before semi finals weekend and taking the finals win today!

The girls were really focussed all game and kept the intensity throughout which was necessary as Altrincham were pushing the whole match!

After a close first half finishing 11 all, Firecrests managed to get a 6 goal lead in Q3 with some brilliant defensive pressure, quick, precise passing and on fire shooting. We needed to lead in Q4 as Altrincham came out fighting hard and starting to gain some momentum. However Firecrests remained calm, continued to play their own game and some brilliant tactics to just keep possession brought home the win 🏆

Thoroughly deserved win for the girls, as year 7s in the top division full of year 8 teams they have shown exactly what they can do! Very proud coaches and parents 🖤💜

Special mention to our fantastic GK Fifi who although missed the final was instrumental in getting us there.

Throwback to when Starlings won the Warrington Ball Hall Summer Season! Starlings v Warrington Blaze White 19-14

Finals WIN 💜💜💜

This match was always going to be closely fought and a nail biting one it was. Starlings trailed for the first two quarters but turned it round for a strong finish.

Starlings started the year many of the girls never having played netball. They initially got beat week after week. They never gave up though. With lots of support from the coaches and family they grew becoming an amazing team as well as good friends.

We are all so proud of what you all have achieved.

Throwback to when Hawks won the U17 Prem - Warrington Ball Hall Summer Season winners 2026 💜🖤

Hawks 33 - 21 Penketh Thundercats

And it’s a double today for our Sparrowhawks. Following the earlier win the girls had to rise up again to take on Thundercats who had got past our Harriers last week. Playing in an older age group the girls have battled hard.

Standing at one victory each in the league campaign we knew it was going to be a close game.

But WOW!!!! These girls turned on the magic in a massive way! Playing with absolute concentration in every aspect to take a 10-4 lead in the first quarter. The girls kept up that momentum in the second to take an 11pt advantage into the third at 20-9.

The third quarter was where we lost a bit of momentum but kept in it - it is usually our go to quarter but Penketh crept back in by 1 goal to a 25-15 scoreline.

The girls knew the first 5 mins was important and they went up a gear again to take advantage of the game and knew they had won the league.

4 winners trophies this season - two tournaments and two premier league winners trophies.

GET IN GIRLS - you even managed to make Carolyn cry at the end with happiness!!

Appleton Skylarks Silver 🥈 2nd Place representing Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Today Skylarks entered the Cheshire County Commonwealth Games Tournament and came second overall . We had a great afternoon with their peers from the next Cheshire Junior Netball League and look forward to starting the league next month. Really well organised and great atmosphere
