Summer Kids Camps at Stockton Heath LTC 🎾

We’re excited to let you know that our summer kids camps will be running from 27th July to 28th August.

They’re a brilliant way for children to get active, improve their tennis, make new friends and have plenty of fun on court over the summer holidays.

Whether they’re new to tennis or already love playing, everyone is welcome. Expect lots of games, coaching, fresh air and summer energy down at the club. (Wet weather plan also in place).

Camp options

Full Day Camp: 8.45am to 4.15pm
£27.50 members
£30 non-members

Half Day Camp: 8.45am to 12pm or 1pm to 4.15pm
£16 members
£17.50 non-members

A 10% sibling discount is also available.

Admittedly, this may not be the most glamorous photo we have ever posted, but hidden behind this very sensible-looking piece of kit is some very exciting news..

Thanks to the hard work of Barrie and Andy H, we now have a ball machine available for adult members to use and book.

It is perfect if you want to get in some extra practice, work on a particular shot or simply enjoy the rare experience of something feeding you balls without offering coaching advice at the same time (sorry Nick and co!).

Adult members will be able to book the ball machine once they have attended a short demonstration and induction session. Only registered players will be able to book it.

To become a registered player, you will need to attend an induction session and sign the ball machine waiver book. The induction takes around 30 minutes and ideally works best with 4 to 8 people attending at a time.

Bookings will cost £10 per hour, available in half-hour increments. This helps cover ball costs, repairs and general maintenance of the machine.

A big thank you again to Barrie and Andy H for getting this sorted. We are sure it will be a brilliant addition for members.

It was a day packed with tennis, pickleball, fun and friendly competition, and these pictures give a real flavour of what made it so special.

Looking for a fun way to get involved at the club this summer?

Our Pickleball Socials are back and everyone is welcome, whether you're a regular player or just curious to see what all the fuss is about. They're always a great mix of friendly games, plenty of laughs and, of course, a chance to enjoy a cup of tea afterwards.

This summer's dates are:

We're also celebrating World Pickleball Day with a special event on Saturday 8th August.

If you've never tried pickleball before, why not come along and give it a go? It's easy to learn, great fun and one of the fastest-growing sports around.

The courts are looking absolutely stunning in the sunshine at the moment.

There’s nothing better than a game of tennis or pickleball on days like these, but please remember to look after yourselves in the heat. Make sure you’re keeping hydrated, bring plenty of suncream and don’t forget a cap if you’re out playing for a while.
