It was suggested by a fellow veteran I seek counsel in regard to making a profit from Operation Poseidon. Check below for my comments and let me know what you think.

‘For me I always circle back to the same point; Op Poseidon Surf Retreats is there to the benefit the end user and as a way for me to give back, sharing my passion and love of surfing with others. Surfing saved my life and I know it can certainly help others, potentially saving lives in the process.
I fully understand any kind of business can’t continue to run at a loss where I make the shortfall up from my own pocket. It just isn’t sustainable unfortunately though I’ll continue as long as I can. I feel the biggest barrier to people coming onto the surf therapy retreats are their own personal financial struggle. Although you can’t put a price on mental health, the people most in need struggle to afford their basic bills IMO’.

Friday 12th Sept. We have a new group of veterans we are looking to support.

The Royal Marines Association was set up to support not only Royal Marine Veterans but also family members. This ranges is from emergency housing through to support emotionally and physically.

We will have karaoke on, some food, raffle and hopefully some extra entertainment!
