During Lockdown Daz kept discipline high, training at home and not letting his results go to waste. Consequently muscle mass was at an all time high when he returned to in April but so was his body fat %.

A recent scan showed that with consistent training and hitting his protein target daily, his body fat dropped by 2.2% whilst he retained almost all the muscle mass he gained during lockdown. Well done Daz!

Member Natalie joined the Built program with her partner Matt back in April this year and both have achieved amazing results in this short space of time.

Hereโ€™s Natalieโ€™s latest scan results that show:

The broken belief I hear most is, โ€œI want to do this but I need to be fitter before I start.โ€

Men message this page and ask for help then shoot themselves in the foot thinking this is too hard for them, or they fear theyโ€™ll be the most unfit bloke in the class.

Whatโ€™s scary is this belief is way too common! Weโ€™ve probably all felt this way at some point.

Sure, it comes down to comparing yourself to others, but whatโ€™s the real cost?

Well, youโ€™ll go away and try to โ€œget fitterโ€ on your own. But fitness is NOT THE PROBLEM!

Look, you might hate to look in the mirror, have the nagging feeling you'll NEVER be able to be your ideal weight and see people older than you but who look younger.

The problem isnโ€™t fitness, itโ€™s energy and confidence - yes cheesy to admit at first but hear me out.

If you backed yourself to achieve the goal of dropping 10-20kg of body fat and improving
strength drastically in the gym - youโ€™d get started today no matter what.

If you go it alone to โ€œget readyโ€ to join a gym or fitness program, you are admitting that you donโ€™t have confidence in yourself today to get started.

So then you start to identify with all the excuses, for example those aches/pains/old injuries that discourage you from training hard.

You donโ€™t have direction with your diet when you go it alone either, so hormones arenโ€™t
optimising and thereโ€™s no accountability.

This means youโ€™ll remain in a low energy state and need a nap to get through the afternoon.

Chris started with The Built Method in Sept 2020 after Lockdown 1.0 ready to regain control of his lifestyle and habits. Initially a member of our In-Gym Program, he then switched to working solely online from earlier this year.

As you can see, what a difference a year makes! Despite his setbacks with an ongoing shoulder injury, he's still managed to overhaul his habits and transform his body in time for his wedding day which is today!

Efficiency is something you should always be focused on so that you get sh*t done, even when you're stressed out and busy.

Your training program should be low commitment, low time. Don't worry about the number of hours put in, but the effort.

Just do the basics well, work yourself HARD, no fluff.

It's fair to say that the results guys get on The Built Method is on another level!

Nick came to us as a former marathon runner, with the goal of getting back into good shape. Like most guys, he struggled during lockdown, especially when working away and the expectation form colleagues is to socialise in the bar most evenings!

Living and working most of the time in Africa, he's been coached completely remotely for 16 weeks up to now and is continuing to hit lower levels of body fat, upgrade his health and energy levels and get back into distance running whilst building a strong, muscular physique.

In 16 Weeks he has:

โš–๏ธ Lost 11.1 Kgs in Body Weight (that's 24 lbs!)

๐Ÿ“‰ Gone from 24% to 18% Body Fat

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Added back in 5-10k Runs weekly and is feeling great!

โœˆ๏ธ Balanced Global travel, family time and socialising with co-workers (Euros ๐Ÿป)

All at the age of 51.

How we did it?
