The North of England Championships were held at Costello Stadium Hull over the weekend of 6th-7th June with three Warrington Athletic Club athletes taking part

In the under 18 women's age group Tallie Sze took an excellent Silver Medal in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.28 metres to set a new personal best.

In the 100 metres hurdles Olivia Crawford unfortunately was unable to finish her race.

In the Senior women's 400 metres hurdles Lisa Halliday just missed out on a medal as she finished 4th in 67.97 seconds.

⚽️ Football ⚽️Congratulations to the very talented and hardworking , Harper in year 7, who represented Warrington Schools in the final against Swansea schools on Saturday.
As you can see by the scoreboard, they ran out convincing winners to win the cup! 🏆

After being awarded a silver medal in a recent competition in Leeds, Felicity (year 10) competed at the North West Acrobatic Competition, on Sunday at Robin Park, in Wigan.
In a very close Competition, Felicity and her partners won a fantastic bronze medal! 👏
Keep up the amazing work, Fliss! Great dedication to the sport you love!

🏅 County Champions! 🏅

Birchwood High School is proud to celebrate the success of our Year 8 boys who recently competed in the Indoor County Athletics Finals at Ellesmere Port Sports Village. The boys competed against regional champions from across Cheshire and produced an outstanding performance to win the County Finals after taking part in a range of track and field events.

The students were excellent ambassadors for the school throughout the day. After the presentation, they even stayed behind to help tidy the seating area once other schools had left, showing fantastic character and teamwork.

Several other students also played an important role in helping the team qualify through the Warrington round.

A fantastic achievement and a great example of representing Birchwood High School with pride - well done to all involved! 👏

We were the best represented high school at Walton Gardens on Saturday. Always a proud feeling seeing our students running in these events. Thank you to students and their families for their commitment.

Our Year 8 girls, plus one brilliant Year 7, were all smiles after a fantastic 4-0 win against Beamont! ⚽💙

For a few of the team, it was their first ever school fixture, and they showed incredible determination, teamwork, and spirit from start to finish.

A special shout-out to Harper, our talented Year 7 player, who was voted Player of the Match by the opposition! ⭐
