⛳️ LADIES GOLF CLASSES ⛳️
New 6 week block starts Tuesday 10th June

Whether you’ve never picked up a golf club before or you’ve played for years and want to improve your game, these classes are open to ladies of all abilities in a relaxed and friendly environment.

🕓 Class 1: 4:15pm – 5:30pm
🕕 Class 2: 6:15pm – 7:30pm

Each week we cover different areas of the game including:

• Driving
• Iron play
• Pitching
• Chipping
• Putting
• Hybrids & fairway woods

A great way to learn golf, improve your confidence and meet other ladies enjoying the game ⛳️

Your scoring clubs are your wedges.

So many golfers spend hours smashing drivers on the range, but the biggest gains in lowering scores often come from improving your wedge play from 100 yards and in.

Better distance control, more consistent contact and learning how to control different trajectories can completely change how many birdie chances you give yourself during a round.

The best players aren’t always the longest hitters… they’re usually the players leaving themselves tap-ins and avoiding costly mistakes around the greens.

Spend more time practising:
• Distance control
• Different ball flights
• Wedge setup and strike
• Partial swing shots
• Short game pressure drills

Even 20-30 minutes of focused wedge practice each week can have a huge impact on your scores.

This before and after with James shows the huge difference the right setup and movement patterns can make in only a one hour session.

Initially, a poor setup and grip were causing an over plane swing, limited rotation and an uncontrolled clubface through impact.

We worked on:
• Creating a more athletic setup
• Improving posture and rotation
• Adding more depth to the swing
• Helping the club travel more efficiently through impact

The result was a much more connected and repeatable movement through the golf ball 🔥

Last week the golf in Turkey was unreal ⛳️☀️

Had the chance to play both Montgomerie Maxx Royal and Cullinan Links with Ross and honestly both courses were in impeccable condition from start to finish. The practice facilities were some of the best I’ve seen and the food and drinks in the clubhouse after the rounds definitely topped the whole experience off nicely.

The golf itself was a proper mix… some good and some poor but can’t expect much with the amount I’ve played this year.

If you’ve never played golf in Turkey before then I’d 100% recommend adding it to your golfing list. The courses, facilities and overall experience are hard to beat

Looking for a fun activity for the kids during half term?

Our Junior Golf Camp is the perfect introduction to golf for children aged 6–12, whether they are picking up a club for the very first time or already love the game.

During the camp, juniors will learn all areas of the game including:

Winter Lesson Programme – Part 2
Kieran – New to golf over the past few months and focused on putting the foundations in place ahead of gaining a handicap in 2026. Early sessions have centred around maintaining posture throughout the swing and developing a more consistent swing plane.
Liam – Preparing for a busy society schedule in 2026 and keen to sharpen his overall game. We began by improving his swing plane and clubface control to reduce curvature and add distance.
Lisa – Aiming to make meaningful progress this winter with the goal of lowering her handicap next season. Her first session focused on creating a stronger impact position and improving the release pattern.
Mark – Looking to elevate his full game over the winter. Our early work has centred on improving the pivot and refining the impact position.
Mike – Keen to make gains over the winter to lower his on-course scores. Initial sessions have focused on swing plane and clubface control to minimise curvature and increase distance.
Mitch – Working on all aspects of his game this winter. We began by increasing depth in the backswing and refining the swing plane for improved consistency.
