A few of us shot (Nationals) with our friends at Atkins Archers in Epsom today. Managed to finish before the heavens opened up. As usual, the tea and (home made) cakes they fed us were absolutely scrumptious. A great day with a lovely, friendly bunch of archers. Thanks Atkins.
Looking forward to the Soup Shoot next month.

Our Founders Day clout is on 8 April 2023. Starting at 1030am, we'll be shooting a single, 1-way Imperial clout. All welcome. We can put out shorter distances if you fancy just having a go

Today's Frostbite match lived up to its name - but only 6 hardy souls chose to shoot. At least we could see the targets as the fog had cleared.

Believe it or not, Frostbite season is now upon us. Our 1st Frostbite shoot (36 arrows at 30m) will be this Sunday. We have 2 teams entered for both the Surrey and National club competitions. We'd like as many people as possible to give it a go.

Should anyone wish to shoot tomorrow, 23 Oct, be aware that holding up a metal/wooden rod in a field during a thunderstorm is asking for trouble. I won't be there.

We have also assigned 28 Oct 2022 and 31 March 2023 as dates at Kenley for "Improvers" coaching evenings - free to all members. Talk to Paul, Dave or Gary for more info.

a little reminder to all current members that membership renewal is now due. The basic renewing fees are on the Membership page (https://www.warlinghamarchers.uk/membership/) where you can also access the online renewal form (or hardcopy, if you prefer).
If you are entitled to any additional discounts, or was a member before July 2021, please contact the Secretary for details before submitting the form.

The Founders Day Clout will be held at the field on Saturday, 23 April. It'll be a single, 1-way AGB Imperial shoot: 3 doz arrows - Gents at 180 yards, Ladies at 140 yards. Other distances can be set out if wanted (including for juniors). Shooting starts at 1030am.
This is a good opportunity to have some practice or, if you've never shot clout before, to give it a go.

Happy Christmas everyone: eat, drink and be merry. If you're planning to shoot at the field on Boxing Day to walk off those calories - don't forget it's a target shoot instead of the usual clout shoot.

We're back indoors at Kenley albeit on Friday nights now. Shooting will be from 8-10pm (can arrive earlier to set up) for the following periods: 12 Nov-10 Dec (5 weeks) + 7 Jan-11 March (10 weeks). Cost is £55 for season or £4 ad hoc (provided spaces are available)

We will probably have the first few weekly 'Introduction to Archery' sessions indoors shortly afterwards.
