🐴 Weekend Yard Assistant 🐴

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Weekend Yard Assistant to join our friendly team on a busy livery & training yard.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with horses and takes pride in providing excellent care while helping to maintain a calm, organised and professional yard.

Duties include:
• Feeding and haying horses.
• Mucking out and preparing stables.
• Turning horses in and out.
• General yard duties and assisting with the smooth running of the yard.
• Monitoring horse health and reporting any concerns.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience handling horses confidently and safely.
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of horse care.

Please note: This role is physically demanding, so applicants should be comfortable carrying out the full range of yard duties in all weather conditions.

Hours:
Weekends, 8:00am–5:00pm.

There is flexibility to split the day into morning and afternoon shifts if we recruit more than one person, so we’d still love to hear from you if you’re only available for part of the day.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, proactive and enjoys being part of a supportive team where horse welfare always comes first.
