Ware Youth is one of the largest Youth Football Clubs in Hertfordshire with over 350 boys and girls registered on an annual basis. We are run as a not for profit organisation with all club fees and revenue being ploughed back into improving our facilities and improving our footballers time with their club. Our primary purpose as a club is to provide as many boys and girls as possible with the oppo

rtunity to play football in a safe and supportive environment. The club does not have a "win at all costs" mentality and we believe that all players should be given as many opportunities to play throughout the season as possible. The club believes in playing children within their appropriate ability level therefore we stream our teams from an early age ensuring that a child plays at the level that is best suited to their ability. We strongly believe that the focus in a childs early years should be on individual player development and not the result.

What a truly special day for our U8 Blues (current U9 Reds playing up a year) as they were crowned Wormley U8 Shield winners! ๐Ÿ†

After coming close on a number of occasions, this incredible group of boys finally got their hands on the trophy, and it felt like it was written in the stars.

This group showed incredible determination, teamwork and character throughout the tournament, and it felt like the perfect way to finish another fantastic season together.

More importantly, this victory was for Adrian. This team was started by our much-loved Adrian, and there was a real feeling throughout the day that the boys did him proud.

Well done to every single player. The memories made yesterday will stay with you forever. Together, this group has become so much more than just a football team.

As one season ends, we look forward to the next, continuing the journey Adrian started and helping these boys grow not only as footballers, but as outstanding young men.

What an incredible three weekends it has been. Organising and delivering an event of this scale is a mammoth task, and the numbers really show the enormity of it:

โ€ฆand more than 10,000 drinks consumed ๐Ÿคฃ

A special moment this weekend was the minuteโ€™s applause held in memory of Adrian Devine. Thank you to everyone who joined in and paid their respects. It was a touching tribute. ๐Ÿ’™

A tournament of this size simply wouldnโ€™t be possible without the amazing support of our volunteers. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave up their time to help make the weekends such a success.

A special mention goes to our microphone man, Tom Pritchard, for bringing the energy and good vibes throughout the tournament.

Thank you to our fantastic kitchen team: Ollie, Louie, Elsie, Bella, Sammy, Lily, Ethan, Faye and James, who kept everyone fed and watered throughout the tournament.

And finally, the biggest thank you goes to our committee. Just eight dedicated volunteers who sacrifice countless hours to make events like this happen. Thank you to Dan, Dean, Adam, Marina, Laura, James, Lucy and Matt for everything you do behind the scenes.

After winning the Silver Cup at the WGC Tournament on Saturday, the team went on to claim the Gold Cup at Panshanger on Sunday. Two tournaments, two trophies โ€“ a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work, talent, and determination of these boys.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Adrian Devine, our U9 Reds manager.

Adrian was a much-loved member of our team and club, a wonderful man, and a true fighter until the very end. It was always clear how much his players meant to him, and we will forever be grateful for the dedication, encouragement, and support he gave to the children, their families, and our football club.

His passion, kindness, and commitment left a lasting impact on so many young players, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Adrianโ€™s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

The day ended with our youngest players taking centre stage, as the U6s, U7s and U8s brought plenty of energy, enthusiasm and smiles to round off another brilliant day of football.

We were fortunate that the rain stayed away, allowing everyone to enjoy another successful tournament at our wonderful club.
