Today we played against lower mid table Nazeing, in a need to win fixture, in the fight against relegation.
We started the match on an even footing, with both sides having a fair crack at either goal. The break coming from a well run play by Sambo, who selflessly passed the ball across goal to the waiting Hillsy, who struck it to the top left of the goal.
Nazeing answered the call with a strong push in the Thundridge half.
The equaliser came from a free kick swung Into the box, to an unmarked player who shot it in to the low left hand bottom corner.

Nazeing stated the quicker with a few chances on goal. With one left to another unmarked man, who struck straight at the keeper, which looped up, only for the Nazeing Striker to blaze over as the ball landed at his feet a yard from the goal.
A ball swung from another free kick was picked out of the air by the thundridge keeper Foxy, who picked a well placed kick up field, in the opponents half, to the feet of Hillsy, who returned the favour to sambo from earlier, so he could tuck it away to the centre of the goal.
Nazeing again tried to level the match, with a well struck shot, which foxy was equal to palming it away in mid air.
Thundridge finally put the nail in the coffin, as sambo was brought down in the area, with Hillsy tucking the consequent penalty away.
