Thought it was time for a little tour 🤗

Currently wishing I’d used a little hair serum and face powder first, but I’m choosing to put my self-criticism to one side for now!!

Consider this your little check-in 🤗

You’re allowed to exercise in a way that feels good, rather than something you’re been told is ‘optimal’.

There are plenty of us PTs out there, who know what it’s like to desperately try to balance family, work and mum-guilt with taking time for your own fitness, and we understand that there are days/weeks/seasons when it’s just not possible.

And no, you don’t need to be a ‘sporty person’ to find enjoyment in moving your body.

Finding types of movement, a trainer and an environment that feel ‘right’ for you can switch your mindset around exercise completely 🥰

I’ve promised myself that I’ll be more active at promoting myself and my business…

To that effect, so I can tick at least one thing off of my to-do list, I thought I’d reintroduce myself and my style of personal training.

23/04/2026

I’m afraid that ‘Quick Fixes’ and ‘6 week transformations’ will never be my style as a Personal Trainer.

The way I work will help you to build a long term relationship with exercise; improving your confidence in your body and how it moves. Building strength that will help you to navigate all the challenges life throws at you…

And I don’t need to photograph you in your knickers & vest, or force you onto the scales to do that!

If you’re ready to get moving in an enjoyable, challenging way, drop me a message ☺️

Sunglasses firmly ON because hayfever has me in a chokehold 🌸 but we move… literally.

This is your reminder that movement doesn’t have to feel like another thing on your never-ending to-do list. It can be the part of your day where you get to switch off, have a laugh, and actually feel good in your body.

No punishment. No pressure. No ‘I should be doing more’.

Just moving, getting stronger, and maybe putting the world to rights at the same time 😉

If you’ve always felt like exercise just isn’t your thing… maybe you just haven’t found your way of doing it yet 💛

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you!!

And to the mums trying desperately to carve out that tiny pocket of time to move their bodies.

It’s not always easy, is it? Finding the time often means juggling - working around school runs, family plans, tired evenings, and the million other things that come with raising humans. Sometimes it takes planning, sometimes a bit of negotiation (especially trying to leave the house around bedtime right!?!), and sometimes just deciding that those 20 minutes matter.

But so many mums know that when they do get that time to move, everything feels a little different. Your head feels clearer, your patience stretches a bit further, and the challenges of motherhood feel more manageable.

And there’s something else that matters too.

Our kids are watching how we relate to our bodies. When they see us making space for strength, movement, and self-respect - not chasing smaller bodies or punishing ourselves - they start to understand that fitness can be about feeling capable, confident and strong.

So if you’re a mum who keeps finding those small moments to move, even when life is busy… I applaud you, because honestly, it’s not easy 💛

You don’t have to have been ‘sporty’ to enjoy exercise.

You don’t have to lift heavy, run fast, or just ‘push through’.

The trick is finding the types of movement that actually feels good for you - the kind that makes your body feel capable, your mind feel clearer, and maybe even gives you a little spark of fun.

It exists. You can enjoy it.

You just need a bit of guidance, and the right environment.

Movement can feel freeing - AND it can feel RIGHT FOR YOU.

And once you find what that looks like for YOU, who knows where it can lead 😉

Interested in discovering what you might actually enjoy?! Drop me a message xx

This is a conversation I have with so many women in midlife.

Years of being the good girl.
Keeping the peace.
Putting ourselves last.
Trying to be easy to love.

It’s exhausting.

But there’s something powerful about this stage of life - the conditioning loosens its grip.

And little by little, women begin to rediscover who they are. Or rather, who they’re becoming 🙌

Happy International Women’s Day - here’s to every woman finding her voice and her way back to herself ✨

There’s solid research showing that when exercise is driven by intrinsic motivation - enjoyment, stress relief, feeling strong - people stick with it longer plus have better body image AND eating behaviours.

When it’s driven mainly by appearance;
* Dropout rates go up.
* Body dissatisfaction sticks around.
* The “all or nothing” cycle gets louder.

And honestly? That tracks.

You can’t bully yourself into consistency.
You build consistency by choosing movement that feels like self-respect.

So instead of asking;
‘What burns the most calories?’

Ask yourself;
‘What would Future Me actually keep doing?’
