Working on the hip strengthening in preparation for kicking able to take place. The rehab after ACL reconstruction surgery is all about slow and steady in the early stages.

🏆 BTC BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🏆

🥈 2nd Place Overall out of 124 Schools! 🤯🔥

What an incredible achievement for Vale TKD at the BTC British Championships 2026!

The British Taekwondo Council (BTC) Championships is one of the biggest Taekwon-Do events in the UK, bringing together more than 500 competitors from 124 schools representing multiple National Governing Bodies from across the country.

To finish 2nd overall at such an esteemed National event is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the hard work and dedication shown by all involved within Vale TKD, from the students, assistant instructors and parents.

The level of consistency with table topping performances is outstanding! Well done again 👏🏼👏🏼

🏆 British Taekwon-Do Council Championships 🏆

A huge well done to all of our competitors who represented the club today, they delivered some outstanding performances throughout the day, bringing home an incredible:

🥇 8 Gold Medals
🥈 5 Silver Medals
🥉 3 Bronze Medals

I couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you. The standard of performance was exceptional, and it was fantastic to see the improvements that have been made across the board. The hard work, dedication, and effort shown in training is clearly paying off.

A special mention must also go to our Team Sparring competitors who achieved:

🥈 Silver - Cullen & Sebastian

Win or lose, the attitude, sportsmanship, and determination shown by everyone today was first class. It’s a privilege to teach such a committed team.

It’s a pleasure to teach so many talented Taekwon-Do Athletes! We have had some amazing practitioners over the years & it’s nice to know it’s not a fluke.

The conveyor belt of talent is strong with so many young ones bursting and waiting to be the next next gen.

A great seminar with Master Harris today in Wantage. Some excellent Self-Defence drills shown, and we shall certainly be adding these to our training routine to keep as sharp as the knifes we were defending at times!

Amazing support for such a great event 🥋

Well done to all who took part in the UK Championships! The 5 Year winning streak came to an end with a still impressive 3rd place finish & a strong Points Per Student Ratio.

Well done to Thames Valley & Evolution who claimed more points to knock off of top spot.

Thank you to the umpires who supported the even from Vale, as without umpires there is simply no competition.

Amazing effort levels from our coaches, with a certain outnumbered competitor to coach ratio, making it a day of running between rings for the 2 coaches for our 31 competitors 🤯

Well done to all the competitors who showed respect throughout the day & of course our spectators who were full of voice all weekend long!

This was another amazing year for Vale on the National Circuit.

Claiming Overall School at the English & Welsh Championships, 2nd in Scotland by a whisker & a podium placed 3rd at the UK.

Claiming an impressive 2025 medal haul rivalled by none with:

🥈52 Silvers
🥉79 Bronze

What a fantastic 2025 & we look forward to doing it again plus more in 2026 💪🏼
