After a couple of years back in full-time teaching and juggling servicing at weekends and evenings but not really advertising much, it’s time for a new chapter.
Teaching has been an incredibly rewarding experience the last 25years, but I’ve realised that my heart has always belonged to two things – bikes and my art.
Thanks to the incredible support of my wife, I’m now in the fortunate position to focus on what I truly love.
Over the past few months, I’ve also been helping out at the fantastic new ReBiked hub at Chilton Garden Centre. From the moment I got involved, I loved their ethos of giving quality bikes a second life through repair, refurbishment and recycling. Seeing bikes that might otherwise end up unused or in landfill finding new owners has been hugely rewarding.
After lots of thought, I’ve decided that it’s the right time to press pause on Tin Hut Cycles. The Hut isn’t disappearing forever, but it will be shelved for now while I put my energy into supporting ReBiked alongside the owner and the growing team there.
The good news is that if you’ve trusted me with your bike over the years, nothing really changes. You’ll still get the same professional servicing, honest advice and attention to detail—I’ll just be working at the ReBiked Hub at Chilton Garden Centre instead.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Tin Hut Cycles over the years. Your recommendations, loyalty and friendship have meant more than you know, and I hope you’ll continue the journey with me in this exciting new chapter.
If your bike needs a service, repair or some expert advice, you can now book through the ReBiked online booking portal below, and I’ll look forward to seeing you there.
Here’s to new adventures, more bikes on the road, and helping even more people enjoy cycling. 🚲❤️
