Sensei Steve, Lizzie and Ryan attended a course today at Cannons Mitcham. It was a great course run by Sensei Thompson covering the 3 K's of karate - kihon, kata and Kumite. Thank you Sensei Thompson for a great course.

On Sunday Sensei Steve, Lizzie and Martin attended a Kumite course run by Sensei Chris Thompson at the Canons Leisure Centre. Those who didn't attend missed out on superb course highlighting both the techniques and psychology of Kumite. Thank you Sensei.

With just senior grades training on Tuesday evening we took the opportunity to train outside for the first time this year. Basic kihon followed by kata, worked through pinans then went on to senior kata looking at bunkai - good session.

Great course with Sensei Chris Thompson 9th Dan at Cannons karate club yesterday. Sensei Steve, Lizzie and Martin attended. Everyone should take the opportunity to train with Sensei Chris when courses are run.

Sensei Steve, Lizzie and Martin attended a weapons course today run by Sensei Andy hosted by Sensei Lionel at Andover. Great course, lots to think about working with Tonfa and Bokken. Really interesting seeing how weapons work interacts with our traditional Karate. Thanks again Sensei Andy
