Glad to have been apart of this ones journey last week. Congrats Sabba on taking Bronze in the K1W category 👏👏🥳

Working virtually has given me the chance to be part of more athletes journeys and help inform, educate and transition ideas 💡 into action. Chiara has been working on and off over the last 2 years with program support, technical advice and more recently bank side support.

Reflections on Paris as a whole… tricky tricky! Course setting can create a whole mix of different demands and last weekend was high on the physical, tactical and technical decision making athletes are tested on. For me, it’s exciting and definitely different from Lee Valley which as my “home base” skill development is based around bigger drops and features… Paris will test your “personality and core skills” more, in my opinion which opens up a different play book.

I looking forward to filling in those pages as Canoe Slalom continues to evolve 🇫🇷🙏

Couldn’t be prouder of this one. 4 months ago we started a project which, in many ways, was a complete rework of philosophy, technical understanding , physical preparation and creativity. Every pillar had a long list of goals, time-lined up to this weekend just gone. Not many people I’ve seen in my time as a coach have managed to get through so much in such a short time. That is a huge win regardless of anything else on the results sheet and that matters more to me, as a coach, than anything else. Well done, plenty more to come from you now, and in the near future.

First part of the season done and dusted finishing off last weekend back in Grandtully. Was good to be back at the old stomping ground.

Some stats so far...needless to say, very proud of the hard work, passion and determination that the squad have displayed race after race. Top work team.
