It was great to welcome the 2026/27 DiSE athletes to the British Judo National Training Centre last week! 🙌

A total of 40 athletes have been selected to join the programme this year, with 24 attending the enrolment day at the NTC.

The athletes took part in a session led by Jason Parsons and had the opportunity to meet their DiSE coaches for the first time as they begin their journey on the programme 🥋

The third and final day of the 2026 Junior European Championships is here, with Nicole Wood representing Great Britain in Podgorica today 🇬🇧

The Bishops Stortford Judokwai judoka will compete in the -78kg category, starting her day in the Round of 16, where she will face either Zlata Suprunenko (RUS) or Emma Feuillet-Nguimgo (FRA) 💪

Irakli Goginashvili finishes fifth at the 2026 Junior European Championships 5️⃣🇬🇧

The Palavani judoka narrowly misses out on the podium on this occasion, finishing fifth in the -73kg category in Podgorica after winning the Junior European title in 2025.

Irakli Goginashvili will fight for a bronze medal in the -73kg category at the Junior European Championships!🇬🇧

The Palavani judoka returns to the tatami in the final block, where he will face Lucio Tavoletta (ITA) as he looks to secure his second consecutive Junior European Championships medal. 🥉

Day 2 of the 2026 Junior European Championships is here, and reigning Junior European Champion Irakli Goginashvili is in action today 🇬🇧

The Palavani judoka will be looking to defend his -73kg title, starting his day in the Round of 32, where he will face either Yusuf Buluk (TUR) or Tomas Otevrel (CZE) 🏆

British Judo Association is inviting nominations for the elected roles of President and England Home Country Representative, with eligible members of the British Judo community encouraged to put themselves forward.

The elections form an important part of the Association’s governance, giving eligible members the opportunity to help shape the future direction and representation of British Judo.

📅 Closing date for nominations will be Friday 25th September
