You do not have to be "race ready" to start HYROX-style training.
That's the point.
We run coach-led HYROX-style classes at WS9 Fitness for members who want a goal to train for, a team to train with, and a clear way to build endurance, strength endurance, and confidence.
You'll run, row, ski, carry, lunge, and work through simple stations -- all scaled to your current level. You can walk the runs. You can start where you are. You can get better one week at a time.
The three training day types
Use this to understand the feel and coaching target of each day. These are not extra categories and not final programmed workouts -- the full four-month track is delivered through our Levels based programming.
Endurance
The volume zone. Longer, patient, sustainable aerobic work that builds the floor. Coach the session so members finish feeling like they trained capacity, not survived a race simulation.
Threshold
The race-pace zone. Comfortable-hard, sustained, repeatable work. Coach pacing, composure, and the ability to keep output strong without turning the whole session into a redline effort.
Power
The top-end aerobic zone. Shorter, sharper, repeatable intervals that raise the ceiling. Power here means aerobic power / VO2-style work, not max lifting, plyometrics, or a strength day.
