Looking for something to do on a Friday evening?

Come down to Aldridge RFC for Touch Rugby from 7pm. Whether you're a regular, haven't picked up a rugby ball in years, or have never played before, you're welcome to get involved.

Friends, families, individuals and all abilities are welcome. It's a relaxed run around, a bit of exercise, plenty of laughs and a great way to start the weekend.

No tackles. No pressure. Just good people and good fun.

We’re on again tonight from 7:00 pm. Bar is open as well.

Friends, family, all ages and all abilities are welcome — just turn up and get involved. No pressure, no tackling, just a relaxed run around and a bit of fun.

It’s touch rugby, so there are always a few people acting as if they’ve just scored in a final every time they get over the line… even though we all know it’s usually from about 2 metres out with no defence left, you know who you are!!

TOUCH RUGBY STARTS THIS FRIDAY! 🏉

This summer, Aldridge Rugby Club is opening the pitches up for everyone with our brand new Family Touch Rugby evenings!

Starting THIS Friday (29/05/2026) at 7PM, we’re inviting:
Families
Players
Social members
Friends & neighbours from Aldridge and the local community

…to come down and get involved.

No experience needed. No heavy contact. Just good laughs, a run around, and a chance to enjoy the summer evenings at the club.

Whether you’ve played rugby for years or you don’t know your ruck from your rounders — everyone’s welcome.

And yes… the bar will be open from 7PM too 🍺

So grab the kids, your mates, or even that one mate who still thinks they “could’ve gone pro” if it wasn’t for their dodgy knee.

Come and give touch rugby a try.

Great feedback still coming in from Saturday’s charity quiz at Aldridge Rugby Football Club — one of those nights where everything just properly clicked.

We ended up raising a great £300 for , and that’s now been sent over to the charity, so a big thank you to for choosing to host at and to everyone who came down and supported 👏

Genuinely one of those quizzes where you could feel it from the first round — big answers, big reactions, and that steady build into a proper competitive finish. The room was bouncing by the end, exactly what you want from a night like that.

Massive shout out to the winners: Low IQ — Paul Hubbard, Jim Arnold, Wookie, Liam Hubbard, Sam Bedford (apologies if I’ve missed anyone!). Took it right down to the wire and held their nerve when it mattered.

🏉 Old Boys Lunch – What a Day! 🍻

The result on the pitch might not have gone our way last week, but off it the Old Boys Lunch was an absolute belter.

A massive thank you to everyone who came down to support the club. It was brilliant to have so many Aldridge legends, past players, and great characters all back under one roof.

The beer was flowing, the laughs were loud, and plenty of classic stories were shared — some of them might even be true!

Days like this remind us what Aldridge Rugby is all about: great people, great memories, and a club that always brings its community together.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us and made it such a special afternoon.
