Keeping the boys ticking over as we build up to our tournament, with a big focus on movement and encouraging the lads to be more vocal on the pitch at all times, whether defending or attacking.

Zak took everything on board tonight. His movement was excellent, and he was talking and communicating throughout the session. We were extremely pleased with his attitude and effort from start to finish.

⚽TRAINING UPDATE ⚽

Tonight we introduced 3v3 games with 3 attackers and 3 defenders, aiming to keep the boys ticking over while working them hard all within one exercise. The lads put in a fantastic effort and really embraced the challenge. 👏

Playing on grass for the first time in nearly a year definitely sorted the lads touches out! 😂🌱

🏆 Trainer of the Week – Archie 🏆
Wow! What a session from Archie. He was very vocal throughout, constantly finding space, adding goals, and making match winning tackles as well. An all round brilliant performance.

What a fantastic way to round off the season! ❤️

A huge congratulations to all of our Comets players for their hard work, commitment and development throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of you all.

Thank you to all of our coaches for giving up their time week in, week out, and to our parents and families for their continued support in all weather and at every match and training session.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the evening a success, whether that was organising, donating raffle prizes, bringing food, setting up, helping tidy away or supporting behind the scenes. It really is appreciated.

And lastly a massive thank you to Hayward Transport and CKW Contracts ltd for your generous support throughout the season. Your contribution has helped provide opportunities and experiences for the boys that wouldn't have been possible without you. We really appreciate your support.

We can't wait to see what the next season brings us!

Training Update ⚽

Keeping the lads ticking over with ball control, sharp passing and dribbling – focusing on the basics.

We went straight into our 2v2 games, encouraging quick thinking in tight spaces. Every single player gave their all, showing great commitment, effort and attitude throughout the session.

🏆 Trainer of the Week: George

After being MIA for the last few weeks, George came back tonight with renewed energy and enthusiasm. He worked his socks off and gave everything in the small-sided games, producing some great touches, tackles and all-round effort.
