The toon jitsu crew just wanna say cheers for coming and joining us up north where it's not grim at all.

Hope you managed to hoy a few people at the course or gradings and had a canny time at the ball. Well done to all the people who were class and recieved a promotion!

Can't wait for you all to share those photo challenges so we can all have a good deeks at them!

Less than one week to go until Newcastle Uni Jiu Jitsu , Northumbria Jitsu and Newcastle City Jiu Jitsu Club will welcome visitors from across the country to the 2026 Summer Ball, course and gradings in Newcastle!

We'd love everyone to share all the fun they have, so here's a sneak peek at the objectives on our weekend photo challenge!

Make a collage of your best 4-6 photos and share them online with " ":

1. Photo with your region
2. Photo with someone else’s region (the more regions the better!)
3. Photo with a Newcastle landmark
4. Photo with a member of the Tertiary Board
5. Photo with one or more Dan Grading candidates
6. Photo in a stance
7. Photo taken in the Summer Ball photo booth
8. Photo of a Jiu Jitsu technique
9. Photo of someone posed like the Angel of the North
10. Photo with something invented in Newcastle (see trivia sheets at the Ball)
11. A black & white photo or a red & white photo (local teams’ and TJJF colours!)

A reminder, tonight’s sessions is CANCELLED, as we’re away at the Randori Nationals this weekend.

Monday’s session also also CANCELLED as the sports centre is closed for the Bank Holiday!
