Wallsend Sirens summer training plan has started.
Having just finished our very first season together, we’re looking to build further and get ready for the new season in September.
Our team aims are to empower women to try and fall in love with rugby in a safe and friendly environment.
Our training plan will build up gradually over the summer as you can see from the graphic below.
The main aims being improving fitness, developing rugby knowledge and targeted strength & conditioning work.
The training will be accessible to all ages and experiences and individual training plans will also be offered for those looking for specific gains.
We’d love to welcome any new players along to join our group aged 17 and over. Whether you’re an experienced player, a complete novice, young, old, looking to build you own fitness or simply want to make new friends, Wallsend Sirens is the team for you!
We even want to welcome along ladies who don’t necessarily want to play competitive matches and just get a little fitter. There will be no pressure on you to play!
We’re a team heading in one direction, with strong leadership, top quality physio cover and a highly experienced coaching team.
