As always, a tough decision for the coaching team! A really hot month in terms of weather but also in standard on the purple and green at The Manor!

πŸ†However, we do need an overall winner and this goes to Alex of the Friday Green group, back to back wins for this group! πŸ†

Alex's determination can never be questioned! He always gives it his all in sessions. He showed a really good understanding in match week of identifying which balls he could attack, and when he should play more defensively. Well done Alex, bet he can't wait for the photo up on the wall!

A great 1st summer camp last week at Wallasey Manor Tennis Club !

We had everything, sunshine, showers, some unbelievable tennis, the famous prize bag, smashing cones to bits whilst serving as well as a big 13th birthday for the main man Walter!

A very big happy 2nd birthday to us, A Game Academy!
2 whole years of working out of Wallasey Manor Tennis Club , leading the programme, helping to bring both juniors and adults on in their game, taking tennis out into schools, care homes, young offenders units, disability sessions, teacher training with prospective and current teachers whilst constantly improving our own knowledge and development!

🎾 Huge thanks to our team of coaches who work hard each week to ensure AGA delivery is the best out there, to Les, Gruff, Ruby and Peter. 🎾

What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of our 14-week Starter Female Friday coaching programme Wallasey Manor Tennis Club ! 🎾πŸ₯‚

Last week we rounded off the programme with a fun-filled tennis festival, celebrating an incredible group of women who have shown up week after week, supported one another, and grown in confidence both on and off the court.

From plenty of on-court action to a huge game of Jail to finish the tennis, followed by great food, lots of laughs and a few bottles of fizz, it was the perfect way to mark the occasion! 🍾

We hope we've given these ladies the confidence, skills and love of the game to keep picking up a racket, getting on court and enjoying their tennis for years to come.

A huge thank you to Barclays UK Sported Grant, whose support made it possible for all 18 ladies to take part completely free of charge. Opportunities like this make such a difference, and we're incredibly grateful.

Well done to everyone involved – we're so proud of what you've achieved. Here's to seeing you all back on court very soon! πŸ’œπŸ’š
