Our wonderful friends at Bath Roller Derby are running an appeal for Dorothy House, an end of life care organisation. Those of you that know, know how much this means to us at Kings and the wider roller derby community. Please give what ever you can and help those in need.
Dorothy House is a lifeline for thousands across our communities, providing free, personalised palliative and end-of-life care when and where it is most needed – including support for our own Peeka Hurt You and her family. Their team supports people at home, in clinics, and in care homes, ensuring no one faces death alone. However, increasing costs are making this challenging, which is where the Life Lines appeal comes in. Running for 36 hours from 10am on Sunday 7th December, this appeal aims to raise £350,000 to help continue this vital work – and every donation made will be doubled thanks to generous matched funders, so this is a huge opportunity to give them a significant boost. Please help us to spread the word about this appeal, and if you can spare a donation of any size (which will be automatically doubled before 10pm on Monday) it would be hugely appreciated 💜
