We’re beyond excited to announce Alex Howey as our ✨NEW✨ Vice Captain for the 26/27 contact season!!🤩

Alex is ready to work hard, lead by example, and do everything she can to make her teammates and club proud🙌🏽

We’re thrilled to have her help lead the Valkyries in this upcoming season alongside Kerry and Rach!🫶🏼

We’re delighted to announce that Rach Markey will be continuing as our Captain for the 2026/27 season💪🏽

We’re super excited to have Rach leading the way and helping drive the Valkyries forward. With her sights set on being out on the pitch every game next season, she’s ready to lead by example and inspire those around her throughout the season.

We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together under her captaincy🙌🏽

🏔️OLDERSHAW VALKYRIES ARE TAKING ON SNOWDON!🏉

On 19th July 2026, our Valkyries will be lacing up our hiking boots and taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon to raise funds for our women’s contact team💪🏽

We’re fundraising to help provide new rugby equipment, improve training resources, and support the continued growth of women’s rugby at Oldershaw. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference and help us continue creating opportunities for our players both on and off the pitch.

Huge season ahead for the boys after winning the league last season, carrying that momentum forward I’m looking forward to putting on the blue and gold and competing in this league.
