We had a really busy weekend!

Full coaching schedule, usual open league game, U11 and U12 home game, U8 away at Prenton, U10 away at Stockton Heath and Julia Bond hosted a grade 4, Orange 9&U girls event.

🎾 We’ve had a busy start to the season with lots of team tennis already played!

So far our U11 boys, U12 boys, U16 girls and boys, and yesterday our U8 mixed team have all been in action.

For many of our players, it was their very first match experience — and they should all be incredibly proud of themselves. There have been some fantastic results, great performances, and lots of positives to take away. 👏

What’s been especially great to see is some of our older juniors stepping up to volunteer as umpires for the younger players, showing real leadership and helping create a brilliant team atmosphere. 🙌

A massive well done to everyone involved — players, parents, and volunteers. The future is looking bright at Thorndale! 🌟🎾

Well… what an amazing week! ☀️🎾 The weather couldn’t have been better!

We’ve been out visiting loads of local schools, followed by 3 jam-packed Open Day sessions — with over 100 kids joining us across the weekend 🙌

It’s been fantastic to see so many happy faces, with lots of children receiving their first racket, becoming club members, and signing up for lessons 🎉

A huge thank you to all our members who gave up their time to help — we really appreciate it 👏

Special mention to our brilliant older juniors who volunteered and made sure every child had a great time 💙

And of course, thank you to Jack Pearson, our super talented member, for providing the tunes on Friday 🎶

🎯Pub Games Night🎱

Friday Club Night was a big successful, with the kids/adult coaching back in full swing, social play and fun games in the clubhouse.

Pub Games Night included activities such as Darts, Pool and Jenga, which had many members engaged and having fun together (with the help of the bar of course🍻🍷).

This week marks the return of our Adult Club Night – running alongside our usual junior sessions!

Come along, join in the fun and help us kick off this year’s programme. To celebrate the restart, we’re hosting a Games Night straight after tennis, with classic pub games including pool, darts and dominoes, plus food available throughout the evening.

Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a regular or new to the club, it’s a great chance to play, relax and socialise.
